Peggy Verdetto is an Executive Assistant and Director of Marketing at Abington Financial Group. She is the smiling face that greets our clients and answers the phones. She oversees administrative polices within the office and manages Jamie’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and making changes to appointments. She also assists Jim Anderson in providing administrative assistance, preparing reports, collect and analyze information, and prepare for presentations. Peggy joined the family in 2020.
Peggy, is graduate of Abington Heights High School, with a degree in Microcomputer Operations from Star Technical Institute.
As a former business owner, Peggy understands the day-to-day operations and commitment it takes to be a success in today's economic climate. Interested in finance, and furthering her knowledge, she sought out a career in the financial field. Her goal is to help facilitate strong relationships with the clients of Abington Financial Group, and to be the backbone of the office, assisting in every way she can.
Peggy now resides in Scranton with her husband, and her beloved dog, Blue. When she is not working, she loves walking Blue, cooking, and being the best big sister, she can be. Peggy also enjoys spending time with her mother and special needs aunt, whom she adores.
